The council would like to thank everyone who gave views that will help develop a draft visitor levy scheme for ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute which, if approved for consultation by Council in December, will go out for public consultation in January 2025.
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute Council has welcomed today’s news that it will receive up to £20 million of capital funding from the UK Government for local growth projects in the area.
A new fully-accessible, fuel-efficient, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute Council bus is taking on a route in Campbeltown to help travellers get to where they need to be.
Work has started on a project in Campbeltown that will see residents benefit from better walking and cycling routes along the town’s Cutting and Quarry Green.
Community Food Groups across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute have benefitted from a share of £57,453 after councillors agreed to provide them with unspent monies from the Scottish Government’s LACER Fund (Local Authority Covid Economic Recovery).
Following feedback from local communities in Mid ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute Council has commissioned a team of consultants to develop a detailed design for a proposed new route that will make it safer and easier for people to choose to walk and cycle between Lochgilphead Front Green and the Crinan Canal.
